Karam’s Bees

Hello! My name is Karam and I’m 12 years old. About a year ago I developed an interest in beekeeping and after a lot of research I started my hobby. After a long season of beekeeping I have managed to harvest a whopping 71 jars! I’m sure this crazy number was only possible thanks to the beautiful gardens, fields and hedgerows of Chipstead and Coulsdon. If you would like to find out more about how we care for the bees, extracted the honey and even made wild hand-foraged jams then you can look at the section below and subscribe to our monthly newsletter (at the very bottom of this page) which provides monthly insights to what I’m doing and discounts on new products.

  • Making Wild Jams

There is nothing like foraging wild fruits while on a fantastic walk through Chipstead’s woods and fields and this Autumn we have had a great forage and are now making mouth watering jams! You can click below to see full journey!

  • Other Jobs

While raising money for the beekeeping, I developed a few helpful new skills that I am now grateful for learning. These include car-washing, lawn-mowing checking roofs with my camera drone and a couple of other things. If your interested or just want to see what I do the you can check it out!
