Global companies generate over $7 trillion in profit annually, yet donate less than 1% of that total. We believe profit creates both a responsibility and a huge opportunity to do good. If even 10% of corporate profits were directed effectively, we could end extreme poverty, eliminate preventable disease, and safeguard our future.
At Albion East, we commit a significant proportion* of our profits each year to the world’s most effective interventions - those that save the most lives and reduce the most suffering per dollar spent.
While our primary focus is effectiveness, we also reserve a smaller fund for the communities in which we live and work, and to causes that are particularly meaningful to our colleagues. Below are some of the organisations we were proud to support this year.
